Lia Luz

Lia Luz (she/her) is a psychology graduate of PUC-SP (Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo) and a psychoanalyst from Instituto Sedes Sapientiae in São Paulo. She completed additional specialization studies in Clinical and Hospital Psychology at the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology where she studied interventions in Loss and Grief. She has worked as a psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice for over 14 years. She worked as a hospital psychologist and clinical supervisor of the specialization program at the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Hospital das Clinicas, Faculty of Medicine, University of Sao Paulo for almost 10 years.

In 2014, she began her activities as a psychologist in audiovisual productions on the program Are You the One?, conducting interviews and psychological tests to prepare a report that would provide information on the emotional characteristics of the participants to assist the production team in the content of the program, in addition to analyzing strengths and weaknesses of each participant in view of the demands that the program and the exhibition would bring. Since then, she has been a psychologist responsible for the psychological assessment of reality show candidates and for monitoring and emotional support during the recordings of numerous programs and series, broadcast on open and closed channels such as Band, Globo, Record, and streaming platforms such as Amazon Prime, HBOMax, and Netflix. She also performs psychological counseling for actors who are minors in infant-youth series, offering support on the set.

In January 2022, she trained to become an intimacy coordinator for unscripted content and subsequently worked as Intimacy Coordinator and Supervisor of the Intimacy Coordination Team on the Amazon Brazil reality TV show Soltos in Salvador.
